Just released this week is the new website for Special Needs Playgroup “Saffron Walden Opportunities Playgroup”.
SWOP had had a site they could edit before but the system hadn’t worked particularly well. So we have had a re-design and taken the whole site into WordPress. This not only gives them the nice modern design but all the flexibility and good SEO that WordPress automatically provides.
The site now boasts full information on the play sessions, details of the staff and about the Group itself. The owners can easily add new Recommendations to the site and these appear on the sidebar. The News section is a series of blog posts which will provide regular updates on what the group are up to and forthcoming plans. Finally a nice simple contact form allows prospective parents and carers to get in touch and chat to the group before coming along.
The lovely pictures of the children playing and having such a good time made this site a pleasure to put together, as well as the enthusiasm of the owners. I’m sure this site will be a great success for them and a really useful tool in not only bringing in new special needs children who can benefit so much from this group, but also for securing future funding etc.
