Fresh Approach - Portfolio: Lavinia Brown

Now I like a nice glass of wine as much as anyone else. I’m for white generally but it depends on the meal, setting, etc. And I have a range of wines that I like and ones I’m not so keen on. But I have to admit that I generally go for the ‘house’ wine. And in a wine shop I am overcome with the choice and don’t really know what to go for.

Well the lady who runs a website that I have just started looking after may have the answer for us. Lavinia Brown is a Wine Expert and she not only runs wine workshops and other events, but she has written a book too and you can read all about it on her website: www.laviniabrown.co.uk. There is a link on the website to buy the book and some lovely photographs showing one of the workshops and also a very successful recent book signing in London.

The website is written in Concrete 5, a new CMS (Content Management System) type site to me, but we’re getting the hang of it. The advantage of a CMS is that Lavinia can do the basic updates to the site, keeping it fresh, and I can to the more technical parts that she needs.

So, a glass of wine to celebrate I think!
